The Spartan Harsey Folder Watch Works Edition (SF5WATCHWORKS) is a premium special-edition frame-lock folder born from the collaboration between custom knifemaker William W. Harsey Jr. and Spartan Blades. Known for its robust build, it features precision-engraved watch internals and gears across the anodized titanium scales—symbolizing the mechanical passage of time—alongside the lock-side inscription "Time waits for no man". Early production runs featured CPM-S45VN steel, while current configurations are upgraded with high-performance CPM MagnaCut stainless steel.

Horological Art & Heavy-Duty Build

Thematic Engraving: Designed and drawn by Bill Harsey, the intricate dial and gear graphics are deeply laser-engraved into the contoured 6AL-4V titanium handle, usually highlighted in rich blue, bronze, and gold anodized accents.

All-Titanium Construction: Aside from the blade, pivot, and stop pin, every component—including the frame, screws, barrel spacers, and reversible pocket clip—is precision-machined from solid titanium.

Metallurgical Shift: While initial 2021 releases utilized a stonewashed CPM-S45VN drop-point blade, manufacturing shifted to premium CPM MagnaCut treated to a 61–63 HRC hardness for exceptional toughness and edge retention
