This elite Sprint Run of the Spyderco SpyOpera elevates the original design with a blade crafted from Thor-pattern Damasteel DS93X, a martensitic stainless Damascus steel produced by Damasteel of Sweden. Created through a proprietary powder metallurgy process that forge-welds layers of RWL-34 and PMC-27, it offers exceptional toughness, corrosion resistance, and a striking layered pattern.
After machining and full-flat grinding, the blade is mirror-polished and acid-etched to reveal its intricate Damascus structure. The handle features solid carbon fiber scales meticulously crowned and contoured for a smooth, ergonomic feel, with titanium liners, a precision lockback, and a wire pocket clip for discreet carry.
