The Spyderco Manbug was originally conceived as a slightly broader, more robust counterpart to the classic Ladybug — retaining the same keychain-sized footprint while offering noticeably more cutting authority. This latest version features Spyderco’s iconic leaf-shaped blade, inspired by the elegant curve of a bamboo leaf. The full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade centers its point perfectly, providing an excellent balance of slicing geometry and tip utility.
Despite its tiny size, the Manbug delivers impressive performance, making it a favorite for lightweight EDC, backup carry, or keychain use. The black FRN handle keeps weight to a minimum while offering secure grip through Spyderco’s Bi-Directional Texturing. A sturdy lockback mechanism ensures reliable lockup, and the design remains ultra-compact by omitting a pocket clip.
