Sized to perfectly split the difference between our iconic Delica 4 and Endura 4 models, the Endela is rapidly earning a reputation as the perfect compromise. To make this full-service folder even more capable, it is now available with an Emerson Opener — an integral hook on the spine of the blade that opens it automatically as it’s drawn.
This high-speed version pairs a saber-ground VG-10 blade with skeletonized stainless steel liners, a sturdy back lock, and an injection-molded FRN handle in the distinctive blue-gray of Spyderco’s Emerson-Opener knives. A four-position clip keeps carry ambidextrous and ready. The saber grind keeps the VG-10 edge strong and slicey, and the blue-gray FRN handle marks it as part of Spyderco’s Emerson-Opener family.

The Spyderco folder for those who find the Endura 4 to be too large and the Delica 4 to be too small. That said, the Endela handles a lot more similarly to the former than the latter—their handles are almost exactly the same length, but the points between the scallops on the Endela handle are noticeably softer than on the Endura 4, making for a more comfortable grip during extended use. The Emerson Wave opener is a neat addition and easy ), though to be honest, I probably use it more as a bottle opener than for its intended purpose as a quick-deployment feature. A great update on the classic Delica/Endura formula.
