SPYDERCO BUTTONUP BUTTON LOCK FOLDING KNIFE 3.27" BLACK OXIDE MODIFIED CLIP POINT PLAIN BLADE, PEEL-PLY CARBON FIBER/G10 LAMINATE HANDLES, REVERSIBLE CLIP - C275CFPBK
Designed by Eric Glesser, the ButtonUp is Spyderco's first-ever manual-opening button lock folding knife. It combines a high-strength, ultra-convenient button lock mechanism with ball bearing pivot washers to yield one of the smoothest and most "fidget-friendly" folder actions Spyderco has ever produced. Available in both PlainEdge and partially serrated CombinationEdge formats, its modified clip point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and boasts a full-flat grind for superior edge geometry and strength. The non-reflective black oxide-coated blade is housed in an open-backed handle constructed with smooth carbon fiber/G10 laminate scales reinforced with nested stainless steel micro-liners around the pivot and lock. To ensure convenient carry and keep the knife poised for quick access, it includes a reversible hourglass clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry. The clip anchors to a second set of micro-liners nested in the butt of the handle and straddles a lined lanyard tube that allows the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards. In keeping with the spirit of its black-coated blade, the clip, button, and other handle hardware also sport non-reflective black coatings.
