The MicroJimbo CPM-15V Sprint Run elevates Michael Janich’s compact tactical design with Crucible Industries’ CPM-15V, a cutting-edge particle metallurgy tool steel engineered for extreme wear resistance. With nearly 15% vanadium, this steel forms a dense matrix of vanadium carbides, delivering phenomenal edge retention and industrial-grade cutting performance.
Spyderco’s exclusive Sprint Run features a specialized heat treatment protocol developed by custom knifemaker Shawn Houston, maximizing the steel’s potential for sharpness and durability. His signature “Triple B” logo is laser-engraved on the reverse side of the blade, marking this knife as part of an elite, limited-edition family.
The 2.45" Wharncliffe blade is finished in a rugged stonewash, paired with brown peel-ply textured G10 scales and a Compression Lock for secure, confident handling. A deep-pocket wire clip, reversible for left or right tip-up carry, completes this compact powerhouse.

So good, I bought a second version of the knife in s30v. Small knife, has some weight, almost 3 ozs so it feels bigger in the hand. Nicely finished and smooth open and close action. Found the wire clip had strong tension and replaced it with a stone washed titanium clip from Lynch North West. Got a good deal from S&R with very fast delivery. Highly recommend
