SPYDERCO SAGE 5 SALT COMPRESSION LOCK FOLDING KNIFE 3" CPM-MAGNACUT BLACK TICN BLADE, BLACK G10 HANDLES - C123GPBKMCBK
Spyderco's unique Sage Series recognizes the contributions of pioneering knifemakers and inventors by showcasing their distinctive lock mechanisms in a consistent design format. The popular Sage 5 highlights Spyderco's own innovative Compression Lock mechanism and is also one of the newest members of their industry-leading Salt Series of ultra-corrosion-resistant knives. Optimized for environments where light discipline is a concern, the all-black Sage 5 Salt features a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM-MagnaCut. This advanced particle-metallurgy stainless steel offers exceptional levels of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, the blade is paired with an open-backed handle constructed with nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and G10 scales. The scales feature both a peel-ply texture and a meticulously machined Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern, ensuring an ultra-secure grip even with wet hands. To allow discreet carry while keeping the knife poised for instant access, it includes a deep-pocket wire clip that is configurable for tip-up carry on either side of the body. Consistent with its low-profile theme, the liners, pocket clip, and handle hardware of this elite Sage 5 Salt all boast durable black coatings.
