The Shaman Lightweight

The Spyderco Shaman has long been revered as one of the most capable heavy-duty folding knives on the market. Building on that hard-earned reputation, their Shaman Lightweight delivers the same Reliable High Performance in a package that is nine percent leaner and offers an enhanced grip texture. For tactical environments where light discipline is a concern, the Shaman Lightweight is now also available in an all-black configuration. Available with a choice of PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge formats, its full-flat-ground blade is crafted from Carpenter Technology's CTS-BD1N nitrogen-enriched stainless steel and cloaked in a stealthy Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that eliminates its reflective signature. The high-performance blade is housed in a handle featuring nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, Spyderco’s high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and pebble-textured injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales. To keep the knife poised for immediate access and swift one-handed deployment, it includes a broad-based four-position pocket clip that supports left- or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Consistent with its all-black theme, the Shaman Lightweight Black Blade’s clip, liners, and handle hardware all sport durable, low-profile black coatings.
